WHEN GOVERNMENTS SHIFT THEIR FOCUS TO THE WELL BEING OF THE PEOPLE AND LIFE VERSUS THE WELL BEING OF THE GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT AND NATIONAL BUDGET THEN COUNTRIES WILL BEGIN TO TRULY PROSPER IN THAT WHICH IS MEANINGFUL. FINANCIAL WEALTH HAS BEEN GIVEN VALUE THAT DOES NOT EXIST IN REALITY FOR TRUE VALUE IS THE OPPOSITE OF MONEY BECAUSE IT IS FREE, PURE, DIVINE AND WE ARE IMMERSED IN IT FROM BIRTH. TRUE WEALTH IS CALLED LIFE IN THE SUPREME CREATION OF INFINITE BEAUTY AND ABUNDANCE ON MAGNIFICENT PARADISE EARTH. FINANCIAL WEALTH FEEDS THE DISEASE OF GREED AND DIVIDES HUMANS WHEREAS LIFE ITSELF FEEDS ABUNDANCE AND UNITES HUMANS.
HUMANITY DEFINITELY NEEDS A SHIFT IN FOCUS FROM GDP, GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT TO GNH, GROSS NATIONAL HAPPINESS. WHAT HAVE WE GAINED IF WE DESTROY THE VERY PARADISE WE WERE BORN TO BRIEFLY EXPERIENCE IN THIS GIFT CALLED LIFE ON EARTH IF WE EXPLOIT IT AND HARVEST IT INTO EXTINCTION ? WE GET IMBALANCE, DESTRUCTION AND DEATH. DEATH IS ALREADY GUARANTEED FOR ALL LIFE FOR WE ARE ALL ONLY VISITORS ON EARTH. WHY NOT RESPECT, PROTECT AND RECEIVE ALL THAT DIVINE CREATION GIVES IN ABUNDANCE NON STOP RATHER THEN DESTROY IT IN IGNORANCE. IT IS SIMPLY A SHIFT IN PERSPECTIVE, FOCUS AND ACTION WHICH IS BORN FROM AN EXPERIENCE WITHIN US.  – Anna M Smith

Happy International Day of Happiness! A Buddhist monk opens the formidable doors of Trongsa Dzong, the ancestral home of Bhutan’s monarchy. Bhutan sat in isolation for thousands of years, and only in the last few decades has been thrust into the glare of modern times after centuries of solitude. This conservative Buddhist kingdom, high in the Himalaya, had no paved roads until the 1960s, was off-limits to foreigners until 1974, and launched television only in 1999. Bhutan is the only country in the world that measures success and progress by Gross National Happiness (GNH) rather than GDP. The concept was introduced in 1998, as a way to ensure that economic development is not detrimental to traditional lifestyles, as reported by @natgeo.
