ELDERS ARE OUR WISDOM KEEPERS and are more valuable to us than the most sophisticated educations available at Universities today because our Elders carry the simple and ancient knowledge and wisdom of our basic needs for survival on Earth. On Turtle Island, recently renamed American a few centuries ago, is where Tens of Millions of Indigenous Natives lived since the last Ice Age. They had great wisdom and knowledge and educated their children daily through practical STORY TELLING.The stories were sacred and held great power for the stories enabled them to survive in peace with their fellow tribes and all creatures of the Earth. Their stories were the tried and true wisdom they learned and collected from thousands of years of culture and survival in this most primitive form. The Native Indigenous on Turtle Island practiced daily ceremonies of gratitude to Father Sky and Mother Earth for the gifts of abundance life gave them which sustained them with kindness every day.

The Hopi Tribe is one of several tribes from the Four Corners region of Arizona, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. They are a beautiful tribe with many beautiful traditions and are known for the hair buns worn by their women and the beautiful hand woven blankets made by the elder grandmothers.

For the Hopi and other Pueblo peoples, after they emerge they meet the caretaker of the earth who instructs them to honor Mother Earth by taking care of her. They are instructed to walk to the world’s farthest corners, to learn the earth with their feet and to find their Center Place.

WE ALL HAVE A STORY TO TELL. We are each writing our own story every day with our choices, actions and thoughts. When leave leave this world Our Story is all we leave behind of ourselves for our loved ones and the world. Living life consciously and with awareness and a greater understanding of ourselves in the world allows us to be more selective in how we write our story and the choices we make. Living an Honorable life with Dignity and Respect for ourselves and others enables us to write a beautiful story. In a world where these qualities are not reflected enough we can choose to embrace them in ourselves. Those who embrace their true Divine Essence stand out like a shining star. Not in a concept of fame but in a feeling of beauty and comfort that these qualities bring to those they encounter. These are the real treasures in life not false worldly fame and monetary wealth. Knowing how to feel our true selves from within us for ourselves versus what the world tells us to be for others is a key to embracing these qualities. We are born from the Divine Source that created the Infinite Beauty of all life on Paradise Earth and the magnificent Universe that embraces Earth.
