On December 3, 2012, TPRF Founder Prem Rawat was honored at a conference held in Rome, hosted by Renato Schifani, President of the Italian Senate. The event was broadcast live via the internet and updates were posted on the TPRF Facebook page as they happened. After all the presentations and music had concluded, Mr. Rawat was formally appointed as “Ambassador for Peace” on behalf of the Brussels Declaration Pledge to Peace. The event was attended by ministers, counselors, and ambassadors from Europe, North America, and Asia, as well as 60 students from a Rome secondary school.
