GREED can be an obstacle to Self Knowledge. One must relinquish all ideas and expectations and pursue inner wisdom with a sincere and simple heart in order take the Inner Journey of Knowing the Self. It is often those most greedy who seek so desperately for fulfillment in the endless accumulation of materialism only to be more burdened and further removed from personal peace. What a twist. I suppose this is the ultimate test.
You can have all the external materialism you like and still take the journey of the Self and find peace within yourself if you sincerely desire it. At the same time gaining all the materialism and power in the world will not bring you peace nor fulfillment.
