CLEAN WATER IS A GIFT FROM DIVINE CREATION. EVERY PERSON ON EARTH HAS A RIGHT AND A NEED TO ACCESS CLEAN UNPOLLUTED WATER PROVIDED FREELY BY OUR MOTHER EARTH. IT IS A TERRIBLY SAD DAY WHEN OIL COMPANIES INVADE PRISTINE RAINFORESTS AND RIVERS SOLELY TO PIPE OUT PETROLEUM FOR OUTDATED OIL FOR PROFITS. NO OIL SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE EARTH’S CRUST BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY BARRIER WE HAVE BETWEEN LIFE ON THE SURFACE OF THE EARTH AND THE FIREY CORE AT THE CENTER OF THE EARTH. CONTINUING TO DRAIN THE CRUST OF THIS PROTECTIVE BARRIER IS AN ASININE IDIOTIC BEHAVIOR OF GREEDY MEN WJICH IS LEADING TO IRREVERSIBLE GLOBAL HEAT AND IMBALANCE IN THE ECOSYSTEM. EARTH IS DIVINELY CREATED BY THE SUPREME WISDOM OF THE CREATOR. WE ARE ONLY TEMPORARY VISITORS HERE AND MUST RESPECT EARTH AND ALL LIFE UPON IT. TO HARM EARTH IS TO HARM OURSELVES. IRRESPONSIBLE LEADERS DOING NOTHING TO PROTECT THEIR LANDS FROM PETROLEUM EXPLOITATION NEED TO BE FIRED OR HEAVILY FINESS AND BOTH. THANK YOU ~
Our story begins with the fight for clean water in the forests of the Amazon in the wake of one of the world’s worst oil-related disasters. For decades, oil companies have poisoned the drinking water in the Ecuadorian Amazon, putting the lives, territories, and cultures of indigenous people at risk. In the face of ongoing oil contamination, state abandon and impunity, indigenous communities of the Kofan, Siona, Siekopai and Waorani nations of the Ecuadorian Amazon have united to build solutions for clean water.
