Bittersweet is the reunion of loved ones. Bitter because loved ones should never be separated from each other due to the ignorance or misguided policies of uneducated politicians or others seeking personal gains. If loved ones have been separated sweet is their reunion because there is nothing more healing than to reunite with the one for whom one has suffered so much due to the pain of separation.
