Energy Independence is clearly a wise goal particularly when Free energy such as Solar, Wind and Hydrogen are all readily available without creating huge ongoing liabilities due to damage to the health of the people and the Earth. To continue using cumbersome, outdated dirty energies such as Petrol, against the wishes of the people is unwise. Continuing to drain the resources of the Earth while creating unknown long term damages in the Earth’s atmosphere outside and vital chemistry inside while poisoning the air we breath and water we drink due to fracking and extracting is ignorance which is causing unsurmountable unknown damage to future and present generations. Health has no price tag because all the money in the world is not enough to compensate for loss of health and life. Pure water, air and food are human rights and necessities for survival. It is the responsibility of the Government to protect those above all else and at all costs. – A Smith
